To many peoples, they have they own favorite fashion icons. Like me i have so many favorite fashion icons. For example, i love Chloe Sevigny because she's very edgy, she have her own style. Agyness Deyn for her adrogeny look, Sarah Jessica Parker with her Sex in the City style... Kate Moss with her boho, Roisin Murphy with her experimental style... but here my most favorite icons will be Karen O (Yeah Yeah Yeahs) & Debbie Harry (Blondie). Yup this two rock chicks are really inspired me with their style and their music. I just love their character, so original. Karen will be very experimental + cool. And Debbie just so hot! believe it or not Debbie already 63 years old. But when u look back her style in 70's, u will be so impress (she dress up very well and still relevant until now). I'm so happy because I met her, went for Blondie show in KL (it was in 2006, its a private concert by MIFA). I was at the front row and screamed like hell! hahahah... she's really cool, the age doesn't matter, but she still very energetic. Now, i'm waiting to meet Karen O. I heard she will be perform in Jakarta. But still not confirm yet. I they confirm, i'm definitely will buy the ticket to see her perform with my favorite band, Yeah Yeah Yeah. Last time, I remember i'm freaking out like crazy girl at a magazine store, because I saw an iD magazine featuring this two icon together! such a great article and picture! When they are together, of coz its a mess! haahahahha... here the picture of my two icons... Karen o and Debbie Harry (debbie wearing crazy neon green dress during her performance in KL, she's took off her shirt and throw it to the crowd!!! awesome!! ;D)

Woww.. its been a long time, i didn't update this blog!. Too busyyyyyy... yeah, yeahhh.. same old excuses. Hahahahah. But, yeahh, that's me. Its hard to manage my time. To many things want to do in the same time. After the hectic deadline and events... today is the only time i manage to update this blog. Only my closest friends know how my job looked like. Some of my friends thought, my job look so happening... (ha ha, yeah right!)its sound great because i can meet clients, celebrities, hot models, do styling, direct photography BUT i'm also have to deal with politics & office drama! Pattern is a platform for me to experiment myself, my passion. i just love fashion. I like to dress up peoples. And i'm happy if people really like my stuffs. But of course I Love my job too. I have to deal with it. If u are an accountant, lawyer, doctor, secretary.. u also get the same pressure like me, but in the different situation. But here, of course i only show my favorite moment at the office ;). Whut I'm doing in my real job, I take it as an experiences. And its really useful for my Pattern project, whut I learned i apply to Pattern projects. I'm always consider myself, i'm still in learning process. For moment i have to deal with my commitments = family + relationship + work + business. And i'm trying so hard to make it work! ;D

'Mari Melancong' - our roadtrip to Koh Samui

Nice place, good food, entertainment, shopping (but I think better shopping in Bangkok, cheaper & lots of good stuffs), never get bored event this is my 3rd time to Koh Samui... Its relaxing, I get used to the invironment. Yes, we party till morning, no cover charges, all the clubs open till sunrise!!! Fashion sense?? most of peoples over there only walking with thongs, hot bikini, and cute little sundress... ;) As requested by Nizam.. here some pictures from Koh Samui (some of the pics taken from Jaja & jac camera, thanks darling;))...

I just got back from Koh Samui.. event this is my 3rd time backpacking to the island... i always enjoyed the trips... this time I went with my backpacking new members, Ibnu, Jaja, Min, Jack and my darling Aby. But before we went there, our favourite fashion writer's, Suzie Adnan, gave us a very useful tips for us. I always have my own lists to bring, but Suzie's make sure all of us not forget thing's that really important. So for those who going to go holiday to island, I think this lists are very useful... ehehhh ;)

22 Things To Bring To Koh Samui by Suzie Adnan

Hey superstars! (or should I say Sawadekap!) ...I might not be joining the Koh Samui roadtrip, but here's a checklist of neccessities to bring - which, I made especially for you guys. Have fun, be safe, XOXO!

1. Passport.

2. Tickets or booking reference numbers; airport transfers and transportations. (Put away some extra cash for that!)

3. Money (changed in Baht) & credit card.

Current currency shows RM10 equals to 102 Baht. Don’t complicate your head and keep in mind: 100 Baht = RM10.

4. Mobile phone & charger. Top-up extra credit!

5. Bring camera, the batteries & extra memory cards if possible.

6. Make sure luggage easy to identify. Put tags or tie a ribbon.

7. To kill time during long journey, bring card games (Yes, Jack – I’m referring this to you)… and books, to those who wants to pull that ‘travel-in-style’ look. And of course, iPod/MP3 …whatever you kids nowadays are calling it.

8. Panadol, minyak angin etc. Like how Min likes to put it, “Shit happens.” …and Jaja, bring your inhaler EVERYWHERE you go.

9. Sun screen SPF 35++ …unless you opt for tanned bikini line. Which can be cool.

10. Super cool shades… Wayfarers and all.

11. Toothbrush & toothpaste. Do you realize, nowadays very rarely hotels provide toothpaste???

12. Facial wash & moisturizers to sooth away the sun burn. Basic makeup kit & sanitary pads for girls.

13. A small bottle of shampoo. Trust me, this is very important.

14. Pack up your bikinis & speedos… ;)

15. Undies – enough for 5 days!

16. SSFF = “Sacred Suzzee Fashion Formula”. Do the maths!

“5 days, 4 nights” means 9 looks all together… 5 easy pieces for the day; and 4 cozy clothes (like sweatshirt plus scarves) for chilly nights!

Wearing the same jeans or shorts several times is forgivable. But reusing foul smelling, sweaty t-shirts? A definite no-no.

Cover your head from the sun! Either floppy hat, fisherman hat, scarves etc. But please, in the photos I dare to see any kind of baseball cap visible.

One of the clothes should be a bit dressier. Maybe there’s a hip club or a fine dining restaurant with a dress code. Get wasted with enormous amout of glam and style.

…all wrinkle-free please.

17. A small towel - for wet emergencies and hygiene reasons.

18. Flip flops for the beach & comfortable shoes preferrably sneakers for the Amazing-Race-scene-like journey.

19. Plastic bags to stash away worn clothes.

20. Bring extra shoulder bag (big & easy-to-fold), in case you guys over-shopped.

21. Remember to put aside 500 Baht (RM50) for airport tax. Just so you know, I don’t know how to wire money to international banks.

22. Last but not least, a souvenir for me ;) …and Mean Min!

'Night in London'

Lately, I don't really watch Hindi movie, but last week I stayed late, I can't sleep.. then I switch my tv channel to RTM2... Suddently, on the screen, its appeared a big word of 'Night in London'... it's really attracted me, because its was an old Hindi movie in 60's. Whut really interest me, not about the story, but about the actress, she's so classy and fashionable... the movie remind me of Malaysian old movie called "Nora Zain"... very adventurous and suspend.. lots of action... but the best part.. event she's been thru lots of trouble... run into the mud and jungle with white dresses, but the hair and the dress still looked clean and neat!.. ahahahhhhahh... I event captured with my camera few scenes from the movie, but unfortunately, my camera out of battery, i missed to capture her gorgeous bag, her beautiful Sari, her vintage trench coat and shoes... (argghhh... )

Hi All!!!

How are you doing??? Hermm dunno whut to start la... I have a lots of thing to say, to share, but I'm not really good in writting, serious... (macam mana yerk?? kalau tak, dah lama I jadi Editor... ahhahahh... rojak lahh ok... ) This will be a new start for Pattern Blogzine... Why 'blogzine'??... Just like my promotion campaign, i did 'catalogzine' to market my products... I think its easier... senang nak faham, playfull, tak boring, not only you can see the products, but also can see my design works and to share any info that I collected, read & found about design, fashion, music.. etc.
Btw since few weeks ago, Pattern are busy at bazaar events. A lots of our stuffs, are out of stock. Even now our online purchasing still under construction (sorry for that), for moment I have to run this business alone, so many orders, and still waiting for the new stocks, and in the same time I have a lots of project needs to be done... really looking foward to find a good candidates to assist me to take order and update Pattern myspace (intrested... anyone??).

Pattern was founded in 2007 by Aby Huraira (Director of Suicidal Clothing) and Gune. The owner of Pattern, Gune, is an experienced graphic designer and also a fashion stylist. Been working with publishing industry for six years, Gune's design experienced in magazines ranges from kids, mens, travel, health, lifestyle, entertainment to fashion magazines. Since she's addicted and undying passion for fashion are really strong, that motivates her to produce her own clothing line. Based on her background experiences, Gune worked and dealt with a number of professional fashion designers, fashion editors, fashion stylists, fashion photographers, make up artists, international models and celebrities in the media industry, and this moved her to take this clothing project as a challenge in her career. Her mission is not only to sell clothes but also wanting to share her knowledge, explore and gain experience about latest fashion trend for the target customers (14-30 year old) thru Pattern's promotion campaigns.
